With the recent Governor’s Return to Work mandate, SSC was asked to include a telework declination and/or resignation reason in our HR systems to provide additional metrics reporting on this reason code.
Effective today, both PeopleAdmin and Avature are updated to include the additional telework reason (see examples below). The VCCS system of record, HCM, will not have the additional reason code, but it was decided for consistent data collection, that we will select the termination reason “Resigned-Other” and notate “Change in Telework” in the comment field. This will enable VCCS to create queries to properly report this reason code from all three systems.
