Dear Colleges,

Please be advised of an important update regarding our procurement process for Lincoln Electric products.

Effective Immediately: Lincoln Electric Direct Purchases

We have reached our spending threshold with Lincoln Electric as a direct vendor. As a result, we are no longer able to place direct purchase orders with them.

ARC3: Authorized Distributor

To ensure continued access to Lincoln Electric products at the same pricing colleges should use ARC3, a contracted vendor and authorized distributor of Lincoln Electric.

Key Points about ARC3:

  • Lincoln Electric Pricing: ARC3 will provide Lincoln Electric products at the same pricing to which you are accustomed.
  • Shipping Fees: Please note that ARC3 may charge shipping fees. We recommend confirming shipping costs with ARC3 at the time of your order.

 Amtek: Upcoming Authorized Distributor

We have also been informed that Amtek is currently in the process of becoming an authorized distributor for Lincoln Electric. Once their approval is finalized, we will send out a follow-up communication with detailed information, including their ordering process and any specific benefits they may offer.

Summary:

  • For immediate Lincoln Electric product needs, please transition to ordering through ARC3.
  • Stay tuned for a future update regarding Amtek's authorization.
  • Please update your internal ordering processes to reflect this change.
