Reason: Holiday Processing Deadlines

We are rapidly approaching the holiday season and as such, need to adjust deadlines and processes to ensure everything is completed timely. We are conscious that VCCS offices will be closed over the holiday break, so we will be adjusting deadlines to achieve certification on the first possible day.
Semi-Monthly Processing:
- Submission of payroll documents to SSC Payroll is 5:00 pm on December 15, 2021.
- Please have your documents to Hire to Retire by 5:00 pm on December 14, 2021.
- SSC Payroll will do their best to provide the full-time certification package to the agency no later than Wednesday, December 22, 2021, pending clean edit reports.
- The final semi-monthly payroll for 2021 (pay date December 31, 2021) has a certification deadline of Monday, December 27, 2021.
Bi-Weekly Processing:
- Submission of payroll documents to SSC Payroll is 5:00 pm on December 15, 2021.
- Please have your documents to Hire to Retire by 5:00 pm on December 14, 2021.
- SSC Payroll will do their best to provide the biweekly certification package to the agency no later than Tuesday, December 21, 2021, pending clean edit reports.The final biweekly payroll for 2021 (pay date December 31, 2021) has a certification deadline of Tuesday December 28, 2021.
- Please ensure that you have sufficient staff authorized to certify payrolls during the holiday season.
HRMS Timesheet Approvals:
The last bi-weekly payroll for 2021 has a period ending date of December 16, 2021.
Please ensure to communicate with your wage employees and the approving managers and supervisors of the following:
- All wage employees will need to complete timesheet entries in HRMS for the pay period ending December 16, 2021, no later than 5:00 pm on December 16, 2021.
- Supervisors and managers will need to approve all hours in HRMS by 10:00 am on December 17, 2021. Any time entries not completed and approved by the deadline will process the next payroll period after they are entered and approved. There can be no exceptions.
*Please note the payroll deadlines are different than those issued by the TLAM group for their processes and will take priority to ensure your staff is paid timely.*
The Shared Services will start processing HRMS interfaces on the morning of December 17, 2021. Our goal is to send the biweekly certification packages to you no later than by Tuesday, December 21, 2021.
