Reason: eVA Training for the New Platform is here!
Date: November 22, 2021
Dear learners,
As you may already know, eVA is transitioning to a new platform on January 3, 2022. We want to make sure that you get the training you need to be successful when using eVA. We will be utilizing the concept of Learning Journeys made available by DGS, which is a new approach to training that provides a pathway that closely aligns to each user’s duties in the system. The majority of training is self-paced to allow learners to fit training into their schedule when it’s convenient. There is also a virtual instructor-led training (VILT) component. More information will be forthcoming on the schedule for the VILT sessions. For additional information about eVA Learning Journeys, please refer to the eVA Training FAQ document.
Starting today, some learning journeys are available in the Learning Management System (LMS) hosted by the Virginia Institute of Procurement (VIP). Learning Journeys have a staggered release schedule in order to provide training as soon as it is available. The learning journeys released today are:
- Requisitioner
- Requisition/PO Approver
- Shared Services Purchase Managers
- Managers
Information about how to access the training is available here.
Please also take a moment to review the resources listed below. There is a wealth of information available about the transition.
If you have any questions about eVA Transition Training, please refer to the Need Help? tab on the eVA Transition Training website.
We hope you enjoy this new approach to training. We wish you much success in the new platform!
