Reason: Commonwealth of Virginia Certificate of Liability Coverage for students performing clinicals as part of their coursework
The SSC would like to make all VCCS colleges aware of a no-cost option to provide liability coverage for students performing clinicals at health care institutions.
A Commonwealth of Virginia Certificate of Liability Coverage certificate issued by the Department of Risk Management is a no-cost option available to all VCCS colleges in lieu of purchasing individual liability insurance coverage policies for each student performing clinicals as part of their coursework.
