In March of 2019, VCCS engaged in the contract process for a new onboarding and offboarding solution. The contract was awarded to Avature, a privately held global Human Capital Management software company. Over the past year, VCCS representatives from the Colleges, System Office, and Shared Services Center reviewed our current onboarding process within SilkRoad, identified areas of improvement, re-designed, standardized, and tested to bring you a dynamic, electronic system that includes offboarding and now integrates with the PeopleAdmin applicant tracking system to automate and streamline the onboarding experience for all employees.
The VCCS- Avature onboarding/offboarding solution, will go-live on April 12, 2021, for your college. We would like to invite all managers to join the Avature training team for specialized manager training. This training will introduce the solution, demonstrate manager-specific tasks responsibilities, and address any questions. The 60–90-minute training session will be offered three separate days/times to accommodate schedules. Managers will only need to attend one of the three sessions listed below.
- Wednesday, March 31st, 2:00 – 3:30 pm
- Monday, April 5th, 2:00 -3:30 pm
- Tuesday, April 6th, 11:30 – 1 pm
Please note: The three meeting invitations will originate from Avature and will be forwarded tomorrow. In the event one of the session times is not conducive to your schedule, the training will be recorded.
Please forward this notification to all Managers at your college who are responsible for a new hire’s onboarding process.
