Dear Colleges,
We have received updated information regarding the fulfillment of the KN95 masks through both of our partners at VDC and VDEM.
A bit of good news from our partners at VDC in that they have a large supply of N95s at the moment and have been approved to fulfill orders for KN95 requirements with N95. "While the Executive Directive specified that DGS would ensure that KN95 masks were available, DGS was approved to offer N95 masks, as well.” The N95 masks would be intended to be used in place of KN95s for non-medical applications where fit testing is not needed. As you work towards implementing the requirements of ED-2, please note that our partner at VDC will fulfill your order with N95s while supplies last.
